Valentines Day Photo Mini Sessions
Week two ‘Clouds’
Here is my week two installment of my 52 week project. You may have already seen this particular picture. Yes, this is my wedding shot from Sarah and Craig’s wedding. (See previous post) The week two picture is pretty much self explanatory. Clouds. I love this picture because it is so dramatic in black and white. The way the clouds are positioned make it seem like a silver lining on the couple. Just the little things I like.
The wedding of Sarah and Craig
I would like to introduce the new Mr and Mrs Swallow. (pictured above) I had been chosen to photograph their very special day. This was actually my very first wedding. So naturally I was nervous.
I had walked through the plans several times over in my head the night before, What shot’s I was going to get and what was going to happen, Where I was going to stand, How I was going to light the image etc, I got to the church after photographing the bride to be getting ready in the morning and I was more nervous than the groom! I had picked up my camera, and could not explain the rush of excitement and energy I had. I knew exactly what to do, and my camera knew how to get the shots, so with that I had started photographing. I hope you’ll agree, The end results where worth the nerves and the anticipation!
Sarah and Craig are an absolutely fantastic couple, They where married on the 12/1/2013 what a fantastic way to start the year! I loved the fact that I had the opportunity to share their day with them, and capture all the incredible memories that It held. The weather behaved itself too, although bitterly cold, nearly everyone had stayed outside to get the shots I needed before heading to the reception.
The reception was fantastic, The air was thick with happiness and we managed to get some fantastic fun shot’s of everyone enjoying themselves.
I would like to thank Sarah and Craig for choosing me to photograph (and be part of) your special day.
